This well-established 5-day course provides training on the techniques needed to gain the Reliability edge for single components up to complete systems and platforms. The course introduces the basic concepts of Reliability and Maintainability, underpins them with a solid theoretical background, and provides a ‘hands-on’ appreciation of how the techniques are applied in practice.

Techniques in Reliability Engineering takes delegates through the practicalities and pitfalls of techniques such as Reliability and Maintainability Prediction, FMECA, and Fault Tree Analysis. The course also explores the wider context of Reliability and Maintenance programme management, and introduces related disciplines such as Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM).

The balance of theoretical knowledge and practical insight offered by this course makes it ideal for Reliability practitioners and managers, as well as ILS or Systems Engineering professionals who wish to gain a deeper insight into the Reliability and Maintenance disciplines.  Design engineers and managers will also benefit by gaining an understanding of Reliability as it applies to their products, and through our instructors’ first-hand experience of Design for Reliability across the Defence, Energy, and Transport sectors.
