BMT Asset Performance win Business in the Community award
BMT Asset Performance is delighted to announce that it has won the Business in the Community Award at the Bath & North East Somerset Council Chairman’s Community Awards.
The awards, which took place at Bath’s Guildhall on Thursday 9th February, recognise volunteers, community leaders, community organisations, carers and local businesses and the positive impact they make on others and the wider community.
Our award was in recognition of our 2016 volunteering day during which we transformed the Swallow Community Café in Radstock. Swallow is a fantastic local charity which provides support and training for people with learning difficulties to help them live
more independent lives. Making a positive contribution to the local area is integral to BMT Asset Performance’s ethos and we are thrilled that this award reflects the emphasis we place on giving back to our community.
BMT Asset Performance’s Managing Director, Mike Prince, commented:
“It was a privilege to work with the Swallow Café team at their Radstock site. The work they do to help people with learning difficulties develop skills for independent living is inspiring. Everyone involved from BMT is immensely proud to have been involved with the transformation of the Swallow café and grounds during one long, busy and hugely enjoyable day. Receiving this award after all of that is just the cherry on the cake!”
